This Privacy Policy applies to the “Azimah” (عزيمة) app on Google Play and to the website www.getazimah.com, both operated by the developer أبو فارس (Abu Faris). By using Azimah you agree to this policy.

1) Data we collect

Account data: your name and email at sign-up, and your password (stored hashed; we never see it).

Invitation & event content: invitation titles, host and couple names, hall name, city, date, dinner time, contact phone, map location link, and images you upload (cover image, wedding-card image).

RSVP data: names, phone numbers, notes and companion counts that your guests enter when responding.

Gift-ledger data (entered manually by you): the people and amounts you record, the payment-instructions/IBAN text you type yourself, and transfer-receipt images your group members upload to prove their shares. The app does NOT process any electronic payment and does NOT collect bank-card numbers — all amounts are entered manually for record-keeping only.

Limited technical data: we may keep basic operational logs (such as request time) for security and to run the service.

2) How we use your data

We use data only to operate the service: creating and sharing invitations, showing you RSVPs, computing the gift ledger and documenting payments, managing your account, and sending necessary messages such as password resets. We do not use your data for advertising.

3) Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. Your invitation is visible only to those you share its link with, and a member’s payment page is visible only to whoever you send that private link to. Data may be stored with the hosting provider that runs our servers, solely to operate the service. We do not disclose data to third parties unless required by law or a competent authority.

4) Storage & security

Passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS/SSL, and sensitive config files are kept outside the public web root. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, noting that no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5) Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit your data in the app, and you may request deletion of your account and all its data by contacting us at the email below; we will act on the request within a reasonable time.

6) Children’s privacy

The service is intended for adults organizing events and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.

7) Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to withdraw consent by closing your account at any time.

8) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date above.
